My First Assignment
The first step was to make a list of ways that I could improve my community.
- Make more hiking trails
- Clean up litter on the golf course
- Find more help for the golf course
- Find more help to clean up peoples yards (normally, a person would hire someone on the golf course, but the wait line gets extremely long and most people don't even make it in)
- Get a community pool

How are we going to do it?
We are going to host an event and spread the word. With the money we raise, it will go towards the donation to the DFL!

As of right now, we are not sure what the final project is going to be.
My Book Group
I have been reading Dante's Inferno for my book group assignment. In my group is Jared Wright, Kate Cronin, and Ethan Noles.
My personal opinion on the book is that it is a very intriguing book. I have never read a book with Cantos and I think it's pretty cool. Some problems I have with it though are:
Here you can see some questions my group and I have asked!
- There are no descriptions
- During our book group, we are often looking up images for the book and finding it completely different than how we imagined not only because of our beliefs and such but also because Dante doesn't describe the setting very well. When he does, it isn't very descriptive.
- I think it is, while somewhat cool, confusing how he put people he knew into the book.
- Often I don't know who he is talking about which as a reader doesn't settle well. Maybe if he had described them more then I could be able to get a better picture of the character more. But in the book he just mentions their name and maybe they have some rather confusing speaking.
